Pursuant to Section 3(4) of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council Ordinance, the Chief Executive may appoint up to 10 persons nominated by the specified arts interests to be members of the HKADC. As the current term of office of the HKADC members will expire on 31 December 2010, The Home Affairs Bureau (HAB) will conduct an exercise for nominating 10 representatives of the specified arts interests (nomination exercise) for the HKADC for the next term commencing 1 January 2011. Before the launch of the nomination exercise, HAB wishes to consult the arts sector and interested members of the public on the arrangements of the exercise.
The ADC hereby invites practising CPA firms to join the Approved List of Auditors to audit projects and proactive projects undertaken by various arts groups and organizations in Hong Kong, which are either funded by the ADC, the Arts and Sports Development Fund, sponsors or any other trust funds managed by the ADC.
The ADC is currently recruiting experienced professional in the music, dance, xiqu, drama, literary arts, visual arts, film and media arts, arts administration, arts criticism and arts education fields to be ADC examiners. The ADC will select appropriate applicants based on their professional background, experience and credentials.
