The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) in collaboration with the Hong Kong Arts Centre will organise a seminar on Public Art Research from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on this Saturday, 21 February, at the Agnes b. Cinema (Upper Basement), Hong Kong Arts Centre, 2 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.

Dr Desmond Hui of the Centre for Cultural Policy Research of the University of Hong Kong will chair the seminar and explain the content and recommendations of the research report.

Public art research has become a topical issue in the arts sector in recent years. To formulate a comprehensive strategy conducive for the development of public art in Hong Kong, the ADC has commissioned the Centre for Cultural Policy Research of the University of Hong Kong to conduct a research on public art in Hong Kong. The research report consists of two parts: Analytic and Synthetic; and has made short, medium and long-term recommendations for public art development in Hong Kong.

The seminar is free of charge and conducted in Cantonese with simultaneous interpretation service. Interested parties are cordially invited to participate to attend.
