North Point Site Artspace

The Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) is now inviting suitable organisations to submit proposals for the programming, operation and venue management of the North Point Site Artspace.

To enhance the level of interests of the general public and promote the development of arts in Hong Kong, the ADC will erect a covered bamboo venue at the Western Site of the now-demolished North Point Estate for various arts activities. The ADC envisages arts activities such as performances, exhibitions, screenings and arts fairs will give full play to the characteristics of the artspace. The bamboo venue will provide basic facilities and equipments such as stage, exhibition area, arts booths, sound and lighting equipments. The construction work would be completed around mid-December this year. Operation of the venue will commence from late December for 11 months approximately.

Interested parties are welcomed to join the briefing session at 6:00 pm on next Friday, 10 September at the ADC Administration Office. Dr Darwin Chen, Chairman of the ADC and representatives from the architectural design company will attend the briefing. For seat reservation, please call 2820 1095.
