Art is boundless. When local drama organisations go out of Hong Kong to the world stage, what is the wonderment between different cultures?

Mr Edward Lam, Artistic Director of Edward Lam Dance Theatre, Mr Chan Ping Chiu, Artistic Director of On & On Theatre Workshop, Mr Sean Curran and Ms Bonni Chan, Artistic Directors of Theatre du Pif will share with you their valuable experiences in carrying out cultural exchange projects at a sharing session held this Friday at the Arts Service Centre of the Hong Kong Arts Development Council(ADC). The ADC supports the professional development of smaller size drama organisations through One-Year Grant scheme. Among their programme lists, the recipients also participate in many cultural exchange activities. For example, Shopping etc, a play about modern love by Edward Lam Dance Theatre at Eslite Vision of Eslite's Tun-nan Main Store in Taipei with the participation of local young theatre practitioners and university students. On & On Theatre Workshop's Dante's Divine Comedy, a 2 1/2-month touring performance and drama collaboration, was presented by artists from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. Dance Me To The End of Love was performed in Theatre Zerbrochene Fenster in Berlin by Theatre du Pif.
