The TechDonation Programme is an online donation programme run by the Council of Hong Kong Social Service (HKCSS) and Techsoup, the San Francisco based non-profit technology capacity building organisation, that links technology donations from leading software manufacturer and the Hong Kong non-government sector. It provides eligible organisations with free access to software donation programmes offered by the Programme's donor partner. At present, the donor partner in Hong Kong is Microsoft.

As the supporting organisation of this Programme, the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (ADC) will assist in promoting this donation programme to the arts and cultural sector.

Eligible organisations must be registered as charitable organisations under section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Chapter 112 Laws of Hong Kong SAR), and meet the eligibility criteria defined by donors. A briefing session will be held next Tuesday (15 January) to introduce the Programme to the arts and cultural sector. Details are as follows:
